Updating tomtom 700
The onboard i Phone navigation is much better, won’t be renewing my subscription when this is due, farewell tomtom, thank you for navigating me through the entire Europe, now you not even fit for a bus time table.
UPDATE: Hilarious hahaha 😂After tomtom has updated, it is now telling me to go anti-clockwise on all the roundabouts, when other users crash their cars you guys are going to get sued.
That wouldn’t be too bad, but it does this after I’ve already started driving, so I have to then find somewhere to stop, hope there’s a decent phone signal, and then log back in before I can continue using the app.
It’s such a shame that this one stupid feature makes an otherwise great app so annoying to use.
Update: pleased to hear that map errors can be reported via the website.
Tom Tom use to be such a polished application, right from the first days when I used it on a handheld Compaq, now it’s junk, on every journey time to destination is 700% more than what it should be.
Never purchase Tom Tom again, and will use all available avenues to make others aware of Tom Tom's deceptive business practices.
That would be all very well, except the whole point of an app like Tom Tom (as opposed to some other navigation apps) is that you can use it when there’s no phone signal.Every time there’s a map update, I waste hours trying to work around the problem. And there doesn’t seem to be a way to log fault reports - which is why I’m having to moan in a review! But then the consumer wouldn't buy their products if they were forced to be honest.Tom Tom advertising "Lifetime Updates" is a SCAM and they should be prosecuted for SCAMMING the public.
