Updating usb 1 0 to 2 0
Simply plug your device into the adapter and the adapter into your PC or Mac.COM ports and Baud rates can be modified to desired set up.I simply copied the files from the"USB Drive UEFI BIOS Flash Packagezip"as well as the"Flash UEFI BIOS update (CD ISO image version)ISO"on to the usb stick.
Actually, the USB 3.0 ports are working, but they're not recognized as being USB 3.0.
As you are facing some HDD related issues, I would advise you to back up the most important data stored on the drive.
Again, you can attach it to another system that supports USB 3.0 and see whether the issues you are facing are drive or USB port/driver related. id=Z3Z2y N Let me know how this goes, D_Know_WD Thanks for such a detailed reply!
About the drive, I would say that you can test it with WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool.
The results should tell you if there is something wrong with the drive.
